Learner Feedback: A Data-Led Report on Online Manipal’s Learning Experience

LMS Satisfaction Overview 

The Learning Management System (LMS) is an online platform that allows students to access recorded lectures, attend LIVE classes, submit assignments, and review course material. Therefore, a high level of satisfaction implies an effective user experience with the LMS. 

Average Satisfaction Rate of LMS Users:  

• MUJ: 88% of students reported that they are satisfied with the LMS. 

• MAHE: ~90% of students are satisfied with the LMS. 

• SMU: ~90% of students are satisfied with the LMS. 

All three universities show strong positive engagement with their respective LMS platforms.

Faculty Satisfaction Insights 

Strong clarity in teaching: When it comes to the clarity provided by professors, the highest rating was attributed to MUJ with a 96% satisfaction rate, followed by MAHE at 91% and SMU at 89%. 

Well-structured classes: The ratings provided by the students on how organized their classes are, when compared across all the universities, are MUJ at 95%, MAHE at 93%, and SMU at 91%. 

Effective doubt resolution: MUJ comes at a high 95% satisfaction in approachability and doubt clarification, reflecting strong faculty–student engagement. 

Timely faculty response: All universities score close, with MUJ at 94%, and MAHE and SMU at 88%, indicating timely academic support. 

Overall, the takeaway is that the faculty performance across MUJ, MAHE, and SMU is rated very positively, with MUJ consistently leading across all parameters.

How Effective Are the Mentors? 

From the time of enrollment, students are assigned a mentor to clarify all their grievances. They are the connecting link to the respective university and are key to immediate resolution. Here is our report on the mentors from students: 

• 91% of the students in MAHE say that the mentor has provided helpful guidance throughout, followed by students from MUJ (87%) and SMU (86%). 

• Mentors are knowledgeable and clear about their job, say 90% of students on average. 

• An average of 86.3% the students also say that their mentors reach out proactively and are easily accessible. 

IA (Internal Assignment) Satisfaction  

Internal Assignment Satisfaction indicates how satisfied students are with the assignment, which carries 30% weightage in their final grade. Here is what our students say:  

• Time for submission was sufficient for all universities (MUJ 94%, MAHE 93%, SMU 93%).  

• Students found the difficulty level of the assignment appropriate (SMU 92%, MAHE 93%, MUJ 92%).  

• Topics were relevant, with MAHE students agreeing strongly at 97%.  

• The submission process was easy, according to 97% MAHE students. 

CSAT Analysis: A Detailed Study on MAHE, MUJ, and SMU 

The survey additionally captures the overall CSAT score, which represents the cumulative learner experience for the entire semester.  

• All three universities report over 90% satisfaction, reflecting a consistently positive learning experience. 

• MUJ and MAHE both have the highest score at 92%, closely followed by SMU at 91%.
