Set new goals: Setting new goals also comes with a positive mindset. Set tasks, focus on your energy and ensure to get things done right away without delaying. Start with short term goals, which are easy to accomplish so you can prepare better for long-term ones.  

Take action: In order to stop making excuses, you must act. Even if they’re small action steps, you will slowly develop the habit of avoiding excuses and that itself is a great start. Effective actions will help you eliminate excuses and take up tasks more actively.
