Mr. Anil Pradhan is currently working as Adjunct Faculty at Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Sikkim Manipal University, India. He also holds the position of Guest Lecturer at the Department of English (Postgraduate Section), Basanti Devi College, Kolkata. He is pursuing PhD and former UGC Senior Research Fellow at the Department of English, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, he also holds MPhil and MA in English from Jadavpur University, and a BA in English from Presidency University, Kolkata. His research interests lie primarily in queer literatures and cultures, with a particular focus on India and its diaspora. His scholarly writings have appeared in reputed journals such as Young, Rupkatha, SCL/ÉLC, Runas, CINEJ, HyperCultura, and JCLA, among others. He has contributed chapters and entries to several significant academic volumes, including The Queer and the Vernacular Languages in India (Routledge, 2023), The Routledge Encyclopedia of Indian Writing in English (2023), Literature and the War on Terror (Routledge, 2023), and Queering Nutrition and Dietetics (Routledge, 2022). In addition to his academic pursuits, Mr. Pradhan is also a published poet. His collection of poems, flitting oddments (2020), was brought out by Writers Workshop, Kolkata.
