Online Manipal offers career advisory and counseling services as well as placement assistance as learners progress in their respective online degree programs. Each semester focuses on preparing learners for the job market through industry readiness sessions and various skill development programs. Sessions on resume building, interview preparation, LinkedIn profile makeovers, and classes on interpersonal communication, business etiquette, etc. are conducted. Learners receive further help to strengthen their professional persona and hone the skills they need to be successful at work.

Yes. We organize sessions with professional development and HR experts who help learners create impactful resumes and online profiles and give tips on effective presentation and interview skills. We ensure that learners receive the support they need to increase their employability.

Yes. We offer sessions focusing on essential soft skills such as interpersonal communication, business etiquette, confidence building, and cultural fluency. These sessions are designed to help learners develop well-rounded personalities as they embark on their professional journeys.

Yes. Job fairs are organized based on market conditions and the requirements of our hiring partners. Learners will be promptly informed of any upcoming job fairs, whether virtual or in-person.

Yes. Placement assistance is provided to all learners, regardless of their experience levels. We assist learners by sharing relevant job opportunities. Learners are advised to keep their LinkedIn profiles updated and remain active on LinkedIn and job portals.

The placement team will communicate information related to the placement process through webinars. Subsequently, the recording of the webinars will be made available to learners on the Learning Management System (LMS). In the meantime, learners can contact the help desk or their academic counselor for more information related to placement assistance.

All students enrolled in our program are eligible for placement assistance.

No. We provide career support and placement assistance free of charge to our learners. However, any additional training required for professional, or skill development may be chargeable.

Learners will get placement assistance throughout the duration of their program, and it may continue for the next six months upon completion of the degree.

We share interested learners’ profiles with prospective recruiters and it is up to the companies to shortlist and invite shortlisted candidates for the subsequent interview processes. Learners may attend as many interviews as they are shortlisted for, until they are made an offer.

We maintain a “one student, one job offer” policy. Once shortlisted, learners can appear for multiple interviews until they are made an offer.

Yes. Placement cell collaborates with organizations and leading career opportunity providers to secure internships for our learners. Many companies offer “intern to hire” positions, creating pathways to full-time employment. However, the final selection of candidates is determined by hiring organizations based on their recruitment policies, requirements, and candidate suitability.

Yes. We maintain a healthy relationship with several consulting firms and they share their requirements with us on a regular basis.

Online Manipal conducts career counselling session to guide learners in choosing the right career path. Our assessments help learners understand their strengths and weaknesses to make informed professional decisions.

Yes, it is possible. Such job seekers must work on projects that show relevance and interest in their preferred domains. Also, they must attain pertinent certifications to strengthen their profile. Learners are encouraged to apply to positions across domains and industries basis their interests and relevant skillsets.
